Matt Tommey has been engaged in creative ministry for over 20 years in both in the US and internationally as a worship leader, songwriter and visual artisan. He is the author of “Unlocking the Heart of the Artist”, Pastor of Worship Arts at King of Glory Church in Asheville, NC and founder of The Worship Studio.

Out of his own journey of brokenness, Matt has a deep passion to see artists and creative people walk in wholeness and reveal the Glory of God through their creative expression in ways that facilitate cultural transformation and revival. Through mentoring, teaching, and his own creative expression, Matt is pursuing a life that reflects the Glory of God.

Matt is an author, worship leader, Appalachian basketmaker and member of the Southern Highland Craft Guild. Married to Tanya, they live in Asheville, NC and have one son, Cameron. He regularly blogs on all things creative at WorshipMinistry.com and on his blog for The Worship Studio.

Claire is a native of Asheville, North Carolina and serves as the Conference Coordinator for The Worship Studio and executive assistant to Matt Tommey. She is passionate about facilitating retreat and conference events for artists that help them be all they can be in the Kingdom.

Claire is married to Wyatt and currently lives in Leicester, NC, outside Asheville with their two children.
